Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you work with?I provide therapy for children (ages 10 and older), adolescents, and adults. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, stress, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem concerns, and school-related issues.
Do you offer in-person or virtual therapy? At this time, I provide therapy exclusively through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Many clients are pleasantly surprised by how natural and connected virtual therapy feels, and it allows you to receive quality care from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
Where can you provide therapy?I am licensed to provide therapy for clients located in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
What happens during the first session?Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your goals, and any questions you may have. Together, we'll begin developing a treatment plan that's personalized to your needs. There's no pressure to share everything at once—we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
How do I know if we're a good fit?Finding the right therapist is important. If you're looking for a compassionate, collaborative therapist who provides practical, evidence-based tools in a supportive and judgment-free environment, we may be a great fit. If you're unsure, I encourage you to reach out with any questions before scheduling.
What if I've never been to therapy before? That's completely okay! Many of my clients are new to therapy. My goal is to make the experience feel welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free. You don't need to have all the answers or know exactly what to say—simply showing up is a great first step.
What if I cry during therapy? That's okay! Therapy is a safe space where all emotions are welcome. Some people cry, some laugh, some aren't sure what to say, and others simply need a place to pause. There is no "right" way to do therapy. My role is to meet you where you are and support you every step of the way.
How long are therapy sessions? Most sessions are 50–55 minutes long.
How do I get started?Getting started is easy! Simply complete the contact form, send me an email, or give me a call. I'll respond as soon as possible to answer your questions and help you schedule your first appointment.
